The Law – A Yoke of Bondage

The Law of Moses typically denotes the temporary ceremonial, civil, and judicial laws that were enumerated in a book and terminated at the cross. It was placed outside the Ark, encompassing over 600 ordinances including sacrifices, circumcision, and dietary laws.
The law of Moses is the Yoke of bondage and must not be confused with the law of God.
The law of God was placed inside the Ark whereas the law of Moses was placed outside the Ark. The law of God is eternal, the law of Moses was only until Jesus came as is evident from Gal 3:19.
Gal 3:19, ¶ Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.
