The Boranup Karri Forest is a beautiful 100-year-old regrowth forest in Leeuwin-Naturalist National Park. It is known for its tall Karri trees that are more than 60 m tall. It is only 25 minutes south of Margaret River and has a beautiful drive through the forest.
The Boranup Forest is located on Caves Road that leads from Dunsborough down to Augusta on the south coast of Western Australia. There are many other tourist attractions along this road as well as numerous world-renowned wineries and restaurants.
Yallingup is a very popular surf beach and has some great waves. Travelling further south, you come to Smiths Beach, Canal Rocks, Wyadup Rocks, Conto Beach, and to the very tip of the south-west coast at Cape Leeuwin.
