When you first begin to have faith in God, it will be difficult for you. But as time passes, you keep growing increasingly in faith. Slowly, the journey will become easier.
The only real promise I can make for you is that it will not be any simple thing to do. Changing your lifestyle is bound to bring opposition from people who know you. Being a Christian in this present day and age is to go against what most of the world believe. Look around and see the hatred that is exposing itself on social media and on many news outlets for Christians, Christian teachings and the Jewish people.
