Three Days And Three Nights

Three Days And Three Nights

Was Jesus Christ three days and three nights in the tomb? We know they buried him about sunset on the day they crucified him. And from the scriptures, we know He claimed He would be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth, the same time as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish.

So if Jesus was to rise from the grave after this time frame, which was the only sign that He would give to the Pharisees and Sadducees. Then what day and hour did He rise from the dead?

This is a very controversial subject, and there are several answers. The only place we can get an accurate answer is from the word of God. The Holy Bible. I wrote this book because of my personal studies on this subject. It’s difficult to understand, but if you are prepared to do some Bible study and follow along with what I say in this book, you will come to the correct answer.

Traditional Christianity follows the Good Friday crucifixion and resurrected on Sunday Morning. Other Christian groups believe in a Wednesday Afternoon burial and a Saturday or Sabbath day resurrection three days later. So when was Jesus resurrected from the dead?

From the time of His death and burial, how many hours was the Son of Man to be in the grave before He arose from the dead?

Which one is correct, and is it possible to prove it from the scriptures alone?

The correct answer to this controversial question, “When did Jesus rise from the tomb?” may be a surprise to many readers. I have given many scripture references to back up what I have written. So please get your own bible down and check these references to make sure what I have quoted is accurate.

God bless you for reading.
